Jay Baker MS MBA

For over 15 years, I built a successful career in finance, mastering complex data, human behavior, and high-stakes conversations. Yet it was my 12-year journey leading a Christian men’s retreat that profoundly reshaped my path.
Through countless raw, vulnerable stories shared at the retreat, I witnessed the deep struggles many men endure, often silently, and felt a powerful calling to help them uncover their fullest potential, heal wounds, and cultivate strong, resilient marriages.
What began as an unexpected pull toward counseling became undeniable as doors continued to open. This led me to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, where I recently completed a rigorous, CACREP-accredited Master’s program in counseling, graduating Cum Laude.
Clients and colleagues often note my natural empathy, strong active listening, and genuine commitment to walking alongside people in their growth. I am passionate about supporting individuals and couples toward personal healing, relational health, and lasting fulfillment—drawing from both my professional background and faith-informed perspective.
As an LPC-IT (Licensed Professional Counselor-In-Training), I am now accepting private-pay clients with immediate availability at $125 per session.
I look forward to partnering with you on your journey.
